Marcia Ann Battisti

Marcia Ann Battisti, 72, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her home. A lifetime resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mrs. Battisti died following a brief illness.

She was born on September 23, 1940 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of the late Orlo and Etta Dorrance Clark.

Mrs. Battisti attended schools in Rock Springs, Wyoming and she attended Beauty School in Douglas, Wyoming.

She married Albert R. Battisti, Sr. in Evanston, Wyoming on January 26, 1968.

Mrs. Battisti was employed as a teller for First Security Bank for ten years and also worked as a secretary for Tree Electric for eleven years.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Her interests included quilting, knitting, bowling, traveling and gambling. She enjoyed her little dogs Angie, Chiquita and Junior.

Survivors include her husband Albert R. Battisti, Sr. of Rock Springs, Wyoming; three sons Jack Alexander of Nevada, James Alexander and Albert R. Battisti Jr. and wife Kelly all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two daughters Teri Crnich and husband Fred of Elko, Nevada and Lori Ann Harris of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one brother Larry Clark and wife Elsie of Rock Springs, Wyoming; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by he parents; two brothers Mark Clark and Jerry Clark (who passed away in childhood.)

Following cremation, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway, Rock Springs, Wyoming. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the church. Friends may call at the church on Monday one hour prior to the rosary and on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to services. Condolences can be left at
