Ronald “Ron” Lee Six, age 65, of Drytown, CA, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home. Ron was born in Oakland, Ca on February 23, 1948, a son of the late Edna Frances (Birckhead) and William Thomas Six. He joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam Conflict, stationed at the Alameda Naval Base.
Ron was a past President of the Ione Rotary and a Rotarian in Jackson, member of Gold Country Flyers, radio controlled airplane club. He owned Amador Quick Print in Jackson for many years.
Ron married Gail Hooper on June 10, 2006; they had a beautiful garden wedding at the family home in Drytown.
Ron is survived by his wife, Gail of Drytown; children, Ron, Jr. and his wife, Melanie six, of Scottsdale, AZ; Paul, and his wife, Zully Six, of Jackson, CA; Rebecca, and her husband, Ron Catorie, of Concord, CA; step-daughter, Amy and her husband, Erik Peterson of Sutter Creek, CA; sister, Virginia, and her husband, Tom Otter, of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Bill, and his wife, Terry Six, of Burson, CA; sister-in-law, Sandy Frey and her husband, Dee Davis of Drytown, CA; grandchildren, Spencer Six, Carson Six, Courtney Six.
