U.S. Veteran

Daniel A. “Junior” Willis, Jr., 83, of Pensacola, formerly of Long Beach, CA passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. Born in Enterprise, AL, he resided in the local area for 20 years. After 42 years of service, he retired from Southern Pacific Railroad. A United States Navy veteran, he served in the Korean Conflict. A member of the Church of God, he attended Dominguez United Methodist Church in Long Beach. He was a member of Masons, Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Shriner’s, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Margie C. Willis; daughter, Terry Sparks and her husband, Don; son, Daniel Willis, IV and his wife, Kathy and a grandson, Michael Demastes. A memorial and Eastern Star service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.

Special thanks are extended to Christine O’Neil for the attention and care provided to Junior.
