Christopher D. Redemann “Tuffy”
Christopher D. “Tuffy” Redemann, age 59 of Fremont, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1954, in New London, Wisconsin, the son of Evan “Bud” and Maxine (Swift) Redemann. Tuffy was the former owner and operator of Tuffy’s Bait Shop in Fremont, and he also worked for the Waupaca Buyers Guide. He had a love for writing, and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, fireworks, spending time with his family and friends. Tuffy is survived by two daughters, Michelle(Matthew Burdick)Thurber and her sons, Keagan and Riley, Fremont; and Toni (Jeremy) Hruska, and their children, Jordynn and Caydence, Luxemburg; his mother, Maxine, Fremont; two brothers, Mike(Joyce)Redemann, Winter, WI; and James Redemann, Fremont; a sister-in-law, Sharon Redemann, Madison; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tuffy was preceded in death by his father, Evan, his brother, Eugene”Pat” and a sister-in-law, Christine Redemann. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
