Paul Ruben Adams

Paul Ruben Adams, 81, died June 22, 2013, a native of St. John Community and a resident of Labadieville. Visitation will be from 8:30AM until funeral time Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11AM at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Rosie Eschete Adams; brother, Carl Adams, Sr.; sister, Sylvia Falcon Boudreaux; children, Debra Adams Chiasson and Kerwin Adams; step-children, Rose Gaudet Grabert, Taraleen Gaudet, Quincy Gaudet, Laura Gaudet Guise and Ann Gaudet LeBlanc; 5 grandchildren, Cassie Theriot, Keisha Foret, Brittnie Adams, Boadie Adams and Kade Adams; 12 step-grandchildren, Barrett Grabert, Cory Grabert, Trinity Knight, Jacob LeBlanc, Kala Gaudet, Traig Gaudet, Rhea Mabile, Sadi Mabile, Tobi Mabile, Katie LeBlanc and Emily LeBlanc; 4 great- grandchildren, Colby Theriot, Alex Foret, Kade Naquin, Jr. and Gabe Naquin; step-great-granchildren, Blake Grabert and Molly Grabert. He was preceded in death by his parents, O’neil and Clothilde Adams; daughter, Malane Adams Naquin; granddaughter, Melissa Chiasson; son-in-laws, Tracy Chiasson and Terry Naquin; sister, Ruth Bertha Adams; step-son, Ernest Gaudet, Jr.; step-grandson, Brandon Gaudet. He was a retired employee of Supreme Sugars for 47 years. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Lions Club Disabled Children’s Summer Camp.
