Joseph J. Kuzma, 88, of Lawrenceville died peacefully Thursday at the Lawrenceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Trenton Joseph was a resident of Trenton most of his life before moving to Lawrenceville 15 years ago.
A welder by trade Joseph retired after 30 years of service with U.S. Steel- American Bridge Works in Trenton
Joseph served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3525 of Hamilton.
Son of the late Peter and Frances Rekowski Kuzma, brother of the late Chester Kuzma, Edward Kuzma, Agnes Van Sant, Helen Salender and Lillian Endrzejewski he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Markwart Kuzma; his daughter, Barbara Zelenak; his son, Brian Kuzma and his companion Beverly Duffy; his grandchildren, Anthony Zelenak and his wife Annemarie and Andrea Zelenak; his sister-in-law, Janet Olender and her companion John Schorb; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joseph on Monday at 11 Am at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
Friends and relatives may call on Monday from 9 AM to 11 AM in the daily chapel at the church.
