David D. Roloson, age 61, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Nix hospital from complications due to multiple sclerosis (MS). Born on January 31, 1952, in Rochester, N.Y., David was the son of the late Dwight and Barbara Roloson.
A 1970 graduate of John Marshall High School, David attended the University of Texas at Austin for a few years. He went on to work as a computer professional at San Antonio College. At age 31, David was diagnosed with MS and spent almost 20 years finding ways to manage the symptoms and remain independent.
In 2011, David became a resident at the Sunview Care and Rehabilitation center in San Antonio.
David was preceded in death by both parents, Dwight and Barbara Roloson. He is survived by two sisters and a nephew – Sharon Roloson, Robbin Malain, her husband Bob and son Owen.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Hillcrest Funeral Home on 1281 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society http://www.nationalmssociety.org/donate.
