Graveside services for the cremated remains of Juanita Gloster Henderson the daughter of the Late Alphonso ‘Al’ and Lois Gloster of Malvern, Arkansas and her husband George Oliver Henderson the son of the late George O. and Marion Embrose Henderson of Bedford, MA. Will be held Friday June 14, 2012 at10:00 AM in Masonic Cemetery with the Words of Comfort by the Rev. Bobbie Anderson Associate Pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Juanita Gloster Henderson grew up in Malvern and graduated from the Malvern Public Schools and was a very active member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. She was a home maker and she and her husband were the loving parents of two children, Florence A. Henderson and Bruce D. Henderson.
George was a U. S. Army veteran and had A 40 year Engineering Career. The highlight of his illustrious career was directing the team of Grumman that was responsible for the navigation system of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) which landed on the Moon in 1968.
George and Juanita was married for 60 years before his transition. They leave 2 children to celebrate their lives: Florence and Bruce Henderson; his brother Marion E. Henderson and Joan M. Beaubian. Juanita leaves a brother-in-law Warren Thompson along with close family cousins Lillian Beard, LaToria Morgan, Lucille Cameron, Charles “Steve” Morgan, Willie Earl Williams, and Herbert Beard, Jr.
