James C. “Jim” Graham, 79, resident of Rochester WA, passed away, June 5th 2013 at St. Peters Hospital, Olympia Washington.
Jim was born in Roslyn WA, fondly referred to as the “Old Country” on May 25th 1934. He graduated from Renton High School, Class of 1952. He attended Seattle University and the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. Jim and Janet Rae Nelson married on August 17th 1956, enjoying 57 years of marriage.
Jim spent his working life as a Funeral Director, Charter Bus Driver, and with the Port of Seattle Ground transportation. He was a member of Teamsters union local 763. Jim was a Mason and member of Crescent Lodge # 109 of Enumclaw for many years.
Jim and Janet in retirement loved their road trips, traveling in their RV throughout the West. His focus was his family and they all meant the world to him. Jim enjoyed meeting people, having a cup of coffee, and telling a good story. He enjoyed dabbling in computer technology and also loved riding his mower around the yard to “keep up the grounds”.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Janet, his two sons Jeff [wife Amy] Graham of Lynnwood WA, James E [wife Susan] of Spokane WA. He was preceded in death by his son Jerald M. Graham, and his brother William Graham. Also survived by; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 15th 2013 at 11:00 AM at ST Timothy Episcopal Church located at 18th and Snively in Chehalis WA.
