Billy D. Funkhouser, age 60, of Eudora, died Sunday May 26, 2013 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born August 26, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William Riley Funkhouser and Lois Smith Funkhouser. He was driller, welder and a member of the Kilbourne Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nona Bell Funkhouser of Eudora; a son, Buster Funkhouser and wife, Abby of Lake Village; 3 daughters, Vanessa Brown and husband, Curtis of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Melanie Lewis and husband, Scott of Oak Grove, Louisiana, and Teresa Warren of Eudora; a sister, Alma Hughes of Bastrop, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother William Funkhouser. A celebration of life will be Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 5-9PM at Kilbourne Pentecostal Life Center. Memorial service will be 3:00PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Kilbourne Pentecostal Church with Bro. Ronald Ratley officiating. Arrangements were made by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
