Gordon DeWitt Reynolds

U.S. Veteran

Gordon D. Reynolds was born in East Providence, Rhode Island to Charles and Jessie Reynolds on January 12, 1942. He passed away at his home in Gig Harbor, Washington on May 21, 2013. Gordon went to high school in Cranston, Rhode Island and after graduation entered the US Marine Corp. He later earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Consumnes River College, Sacramento, California. He had a love for working with his hands and was an accomplished carpenter by trade. He enjoyed working on his family's genealogy and had a love for football, electronics, being outdoors working on his small five acre farm, and creatively designing and building things with wood. Gordon proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps, the US Air Force, and the US Army Reserves.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Sandie Reynolds and his three children, Henry (Skip) Reynolds, Michael Dean Reynolds, and Katryn Marie Whitney. He is also survived by his sister, Betsy Hall and his brother, Allen Reynolds.

There will be no formal services and his ashes will be placed at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. A small family memorial dinner will be held to honor his passing. Condolences may be left online at the Tuell-McKee Funeral Home website guestbook.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Group Health Hospice and Palliative Care staff for their support in his final days.
