Ludowici-Stephen C. Edmondson,32 passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Memorial Health in Savannah as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born in Jesup and lived in Long County all of his life. He was a plumber with TFW on Ft. Stewart for several years and was a former employee of RaCon and the Winn Army Hospital on Ft. Stewart. He attended A New Beginning Church in Ludowici. Survivors are his parents, Jeff & Anita Maulden Edmondson; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery Edmondson and wife Nikki; Maternal Great-grandmother, Sarah Johnston; a niece, Paislee Edmondson and two nephews, Jeffery and Blake Edmondson, all of Ludowici; numerous cousins also survive. Visitation will be Monday, March 25 from 6-8 P.M. at A NewBeginning Church. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 26 at 11:00 A.M. at A New Beginning Church with Rev. Tom Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Baggs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Marsh, Mike McClelland, Jr., Jason Rogers, Jacob Pitts, Ted Bell, and Anthony Moody. Howard Funeral Home of Ludowici is in charge of the arrangements.
