Edward Wayne Chappelle was born to the late James Thomas Chappell, Jr., and Wilola Shannon Chappell on June 11, 1962 in Sherman, Texas. As a child, he was very active and loved sports. He received his education while attending Sherman Public Schools. Wayne acquired his GED in 1981 while proudly serving his country for three years in the US Army. Wayne knew and was loved by many people. He was known for his ability to make a meal out of almost anything. He was considered a “Jack of All Trades”; working as a plumber, carpenter and as a roofer, just to name a few jobs he held. He was considered to be a very special brother and uncle, but most of all, Wayne was a loving son, father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons; Brandon Watson, (Jeren) Shawn Green, Javier Chappell, Alex Chappell, all of Sher-Den, TX, Brei’yon Chappell and N’Jiyah Chappell, of Port Arthur, TX, daughters; Jazley Chappell of Dallas, TX, Darika Chappell of Whitesboro, TX and LaTerrisha Watson of Denison, TX, his mother Wilola Shannon Chappell of Denison, TX, brothers; Thomas Chappell, Sr.and wife Patricia of Copperas Cove, TX, Michael Shannon of Allen, TX, Johnny Chappell and wife Vanessa of Waco, TX, and Jarvis Chappell of Denison, TX, sisters; Wilola Walker, Martha Walker and husband David, and Velma Delmast, all of Denison, TX, and Ramona Chappell of Exmore, Virginia, thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends, who all love him very much.
