Renee Davis Randolph

Funeral services for Renee Davis Randolph 94 of Palestine, will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine, with Mnsgr Zack officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. Mrs. Randolph passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 in Tyler. She was born June 19, 1918 in Montalba, to Joshua Adolphus Davis and Ruby Sue Ward Davis. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palestine. Renee loved her organizations and held offices in many of them including membership in Chapter #395, Order of Eastern Star, Palestine, she also was a fifty year member and past Matron of Chapter #777 in Irving, Texas. She was past Queen of Sharon Temple Daughters of the Nile #127 in Tyler, past President of United Daughters of the Confederacy, member of the National Society Daughters of American Revolution Mary Tyler Chapter, Tyler. She was also a member of Camp Ford Historical Society Tyler, lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW #3907 in Palestine, and a member of the Historical Society of Anderson County. Mrs. Randolph was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Frank L. Randolph in 1986, and Donald L. Brisendine in 2006. She is survived by adopted daughter, “Rusty” Evelyn Ward Stallings of Tyler, two sisters Mary Nell Zotz of Houston and Patsy June Diamond also of Houston, grandchildren; Paula Rudy and Rex Robertson, great grandchildren; Brandy Chavarria, Amanda Morish and Samuel Robertson, great great grandchild Ella Chavarria, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rex Robertson, Paul Rudy and Randy Ward. Rosary will be begin 7:00 PM Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas, 75701.
