Gary E. Hill, 65, Henderson, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Methodist Hospital.
He was a member of First Baptist Church. Gary had been Health and Safety Specialist at Big Rivers for 27 years and was Administrator of Lighthouse Counseling Services, Inc. He was also a Vietnam War Army veteran. Gary was known for his big smile and his contagious laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cortis E. and Dorothy Glenn Dorrah Hill; and one granddaughter, Sadie Caroline Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jane McKenney Hill; two daughters, Amber Hill Davis and her husband, Tim, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and Christy Hill Cartner and her husband, Brandon, of Lexington, Kentucky; one son, Chase Hill of Lexington, Kentucky; one sister, Bonnie Matherly of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one brother, Richard Hill of Crayne, Kentucky; one grandson, Eli Davis; and nieces.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Todd Linn, Ph.D., will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chase Hill, Brandon Cartner, Danny Mitchell, Tim Davis, Jimmy Phillips, and Jim Orrahood.
Richard Hill will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
