Sylvia Angelovic passed on May 8th, 2013 in Golden Colorado at the age of 79 after a year long battle with cancer , surrounded by her family. Sylvia was born on June 16, 1933 in Superior, Wyoming to Stella Novak Marchetti and Sylvio Marchetti. Sylvia graduated from Superior High School in 1951. She married Carl Moser in 1950 and had four children, Diana Moser Christiansen, Brent Moser, Dreama Moser McAffee and Rhonda Moser Hornsby. They divorced in 1976. Sylvia married Harry Angelovic on June 30th, 1979 and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1993. She is known as "Poopsie and Nanny" and above all else enjoyed her family. Sylvia was employed by School District #1, clothing stores, Mt. Fuel Supply Company and Callas Realty. Sylvia resided in Rock Springs, Wyoming until the age of seventy. She later resided in Las Vegas Nevada, Helena Montana and Colorado with each of her daughters. She had ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She loved gardening, dancing, cooking, making raviolis, Suduko, reading, sewing, playing cards, planning her class reunions, Elvis Presley, writing poems and children's stories. She also had poems published. Sylvia was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, BPO Elks and Eagles Auxillary. She is survived by her daughter Diana Moser Christiansen and husband Curly Landsteiner. Diana's three daughters Holly Wettanen and her husband Jason. Carla Christiansen, Sabrina and husband Sean; one son Brent Moser and wife Cathy and his three children Charlie, Brianne and Meagan; her daughter Dreama Moser McAffee and husband John McAffee and their two sons Jason McAffee and Joshua McAffee and his wife Jenny; her daughter Rhonda Moser Hornsby and significant other Kevin Detienne and his daughter Sydney. Rhonda's children Brock Quinn and significant other Katrina, Brittany Quinn and husband Iba. Her brother Freddy Marchetti and wife Betty. Great Grandchildren Diana, Devon, Jaden , Harley, Phil and Drew. She is also survived by nephews and nieces: Fred, Denise and Brad and Shauna Marchetti. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Stella and Sylvio Marchetti, husband Harry Angelovic, great grandmother Josephine Taucher and uncle Johnny Taucher. Sylvia touched the heart and soul of everyone she met; she always had time to listen. Love you to the moon, stars infinitive and above mom.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 16, 2013 at the Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Avenue, Rock Springs, Wyoming. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday at the church. Friends may call at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the rosary and on Thursday at the church, one hour prior to the services.
