Miles Wade Harker, 59 years of age, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013, near Salmon, Idaho. He died in the mountains where he preferred to live, with his faithful companion Shadow at his side. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were provided by Jones & Casey Funeral Home of Salmon, Idaho. Miles Wade Harker was born in Shelley, Idaho on July 6, 1953, the son of Clarence Harker and Edna Moore. He grew up in Shelley and was raised by Larraine Collins. He worked in the Shelley area as a handy man for many years. He lived in the Salmon area several times throughout his life, finding work where it was available. His last employment was driving for River Shuttles. He is survived by daughter April Brown of Blackfoot, Idaho; four brothers: David Dunn of Atlanta, Georgia, Billy Reed (Susan) Winters of Sugar City, Idaho, Royce Dunn of Vermont, and Keith Dunn of Boise, Idaho; sisters: Tina Dunn of Boise, Idaho, and Corinna Dunn & partner Tammy Clark of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren: Twins Ron & Dakota and Josalyn Brown of Blackfoot, Idaho; and his best friend Robert Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his adoptive mother Larraine Collins.
