Jesse Granger

IN THE BEGINNING GOD... Genesis 1:1
The author or Our Father and only Portrait of Life, God Almighty began the Life Portrait of Jesse Granger on April 11, 1944 in the city of Homewood, Alabama. Jesse was the fourth child born to Ella Mae Little (deceased) and Jeff Granger, Sr. (deceased).

EARLY SKETCHES
At the age of six, Jesse began his education at Rosedale High School where he completed his elementary, middle school, and high school education ---all in the same building. Upon graduation from Rosedale High School in 1962, he then attended Los Angeles City College where he earned a certificate in broadcasting.

Jesse made his commitment to he Lord at an early age, where he was baptized and became a member in all children's activities such as Sunday School, Youth Choir and the Youth Usher Board.

Jesse was known at an early age for the contributions he made to he community as far as helping and serving others.

PORTRAIT OF DEVELOPMENT
For 34 years, Jesse served the City of Los Angeles where he functioned as a Traffic Officer for the Bureau of Parking Enforcement. Within and throughout the City of Los Angeles, Jesse was well liked and regarded with high esteem and loving respect.

Such love and support continued to follow Jesse, even throughout his retirement years. Certainly Jesse's presence on this Earth, his kind-heartedness for others resulted in attracting a great multitude of friends under his loving wings.

THE MAN WE ALL KNEW
Jesse was devoted, faithful, and loving towards all his friends and family. With Jesse's god-given talents and special gifts, he was able to beautify homes, lawns and prepare great gourmet meals for the ones he loved. Jesse also enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, hunting, dominos, and being so-called, self-proclaimed, part-time comedian. He was definitely a man that we all thank God for allowing us the opportunity for him being part of our lives in one shape, form, or fashion. Jesse Granger will be deeply missed.

FINAL TOUCH
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
The finisher of our faith and the only portrait of life applied the last strokes and final tough to Jesse's life-sized 'canvas' on Saturday morning, April 27, 2013. Jesse ascended from this earthly place we call home to the "Hope of Glory"!

Cherishing loving, precious memories are: hiss oul mate, Zypher; his children: Desaray, Durwin and Yolanda; his grandchildren: Michael, Turmaine, Durwin, Jr., Tamarra, Joshua, Glenn, Jr., Durron, and Darius; as well as eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
