Andrew McMeeking, Jr.

Andrew McMeeking, Jr. died on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 86.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. McMeeking and his wife were original Levittown homeowners.

Until retiring, he was employed with SKF Industries as a draftsman for many years.

Mr. McMeeking was a US Navy veteran having served aboard the USS Atlanta.

He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was an avid Phillies fan.

Mr. McMeeking faithfully supported his family and their Catholic faith. He proudly provided his children with a Catholic education.

Mr. McMeeking was the beloved husband of 64 years to Marie E. (Dennitts) and was the loving father of James A. McMeeking (Joanne) and Denise M. McInnes. He was the devoted grandfather of Brittany M. McMeeking, Richard M. (Michelle Canell) and Andrew T. McInnes, Nicole Innamorato and Chery Karvounis (Steven) and the proud great grandfather of Cole R. McInnes and Marina Lynn and A.J. Karvounis. Mr. McMeeking will also be sadly missed by his sister, Margaret Weber (the late Bob), nieces, Barbara Walker and Dianne Weber, as well as many friends, especially those from SKF Industries.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
