Delma Lee Entrekin, 76, of Petal, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Forrest General Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., at Moore Funeral Chapel in Petal, followed by burial in Little Black Creek Cemetery in Lumberton.
Mr. Entrekin was a retired truck driver and was known as Mr. E at Underwood Small Engine where he also worked for many years. He was a member and deacon of Temple Baptist Church in Petal and was on the board of the Sunrise Community Volunteer Fire Department. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Camelia Entrekin; one sister, LaDelle Entrekin; one brother, William Arthur Entrekin, Jr.; and two son-in-laws, Dell Aycock and Sammy Garner.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Analois Broadhead Entrekin of Petal; three daughters, Chrystal Garner of Hattiesburg, Candice Aycock of Purvis, Kim Anderson and her husband Stokley of Carriere; one son, Todd Entrekin and his wife Julie of Petal; seven grandchildren, Carrie Bouchard and her husband Wade, Kayla Gray and her husband Patrick, Celeste Still and her husband Eric, Jacob Aycock, Chelsea Entrekin and her fiancé Christopher Hilton, Jenna Entrekin, and Isabella Entrekin; and five great-grandchildren, Katherine and Elias Gray, Olivia and Adelle Still, and Victoria Entrekin Hilton.
Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2013, from 5 – 8 p.m., at Moore Funeral Home in Petal. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Children’s Ministry at Temple Baptist Church in Petal.
