Bradley A. Moore of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday afternoon at St. Vincent Hospital. He was 59.
Brad was a tax accountant who loved every client he had. He started with Jack Mellon in Lafayette in May 1975. In January 1978 he started his own practice and in January 1981 he went in with Don Rankin to form Rankin and Moore, which he was still operating. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Country Club and was Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He enjoyed playing softball, fishing, golfing, playing cards, mushroom hunting, and cooking for his family and friends. He very much loved his son and granddaughter.
Born April 7, 1954 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Harold “Pete” Moore and Martha Johnson Moore. He grew up in Waynetown and attended Waynetown schools until becoming part of the first graduating class of North Montgomery in 1972. He was a 1975 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He married Kathy Ray on January 17, 1976 in Crawfordsville.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Moore, son, Doug (Kristin) Moore, granddaughter, Addison Moore, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patricia and Gene Ray.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Congregational Christian Church, 101 S. Academy Street, Darlington, with Pastor Seth Stultz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the church.
