Mrs. Carrie Bell Carlton

Mrs. Carrie Bell Carlton, age 90, of 205 Lorease Drive, Dudley, North Carolina departed her earthly life on Monday, April 15, 2013 , at Genesis Healthcare Center, Mount Olive, NC.

Carrie was born in Wayne County on May 12, 1922, to the late Mr. Bill Robinson and Mrs. Annie Raynor Robinson.

She received her education in the public schools of Wayne County.

Mrs. Carlton was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charlie Henry Carlton and son, Doniel Carlton.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, April 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. from the Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 2591 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, NC. Elder Rev. Perry Carlton, Jr. will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Carver Memorial Park Cemetery, 222 Breazeale Avenue, Mount Olive, NC.

Prior to the funeral service, a public viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013, at Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 2591 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, NC from 12:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

Mrs. Carlton leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories: one son, Tommy Carlton; two grandchildren, Michell Manley and Darryl Manley; two great grandchildren, Kadeem Manly and Monica Manly; one sister, Mrs. Annie E. Yelverton; her beloved niece; Mrs. Dorothy Cogdell and husband, Mr. Daniel Cogdell; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will assemble on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cogdell, 205 Lorease Drive, Dudley, North Carolina one-hours prior to the funeral at 12:55 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
