Alice Ione Ehricke, age 62 of Menasha, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Theda Clark Medical Center, after a courageous battle with lung disease, with her husband by her side.
Alice (Patterson) Ehricke was born in Evansville, WI on November 16, 1950 to the late Leon and Audrey Patterson. She graduated from Appleton East High School in 1968 and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Later she owned and operated Joseph’s Decorating Center, and then worked for Paul Davis Restoration Company. Recently she was part owner of The Old Grog in Menasha.
Alice married Paul Ehricke on October 25, 1997 at First Congregational United Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Radke of Tucson, AZ; brother, Larry (Beth) Patterson, Wauwatosa, WI; brother-in-law John (Laurel) Ehricke, Darboy, WI; sister-in-law Mary Sue (Jim) Kuske, Appleton, WI; stepchildren: Brian (Lisa) Ehricke, Houston, TX; Chad (Hyesoon) Ehricke, Appleton, WI; and Kim (Fred) Therrien, Appleton, WI; and six beautiful grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A memorial service for Alice will be held at 12:00 NOON on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Menasha’s Westgor Funeral Home. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
