Harold L. Isaacson of Macon, MO, 88, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
Harold was born on November 8, 1924, in Macon County the son of Ivy and Lora (Grimshaw) Isaacson. He served his country in the United States Army. Harold was united in marriage to Marilyn Thatcher on April 12, 1953, in Bloomfield, IA. He was a member of Callao Christian Church and enjoyed farming and especially working with his cattle.
Harold is survived by one daughter, Lauri Miller and her husband Shane of Macon; two brothers, Jim Isaacson and his wife Donna of Macon, Paul Isaacson and his wife Linda of Macon, and one sister, Mary Pursley of Macon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, on July 2, 2003, one brother, Vern and one sister, Phyllis.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 1:00 pm at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Macon with Brother Clark Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao, MO. Visitation will from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Locust Grove Cemetery, the Samaritan Hospital or the American Heart Association.
