Morrow Lee Monroe

Morrow Lee Monroe was born on April 11, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Henke and Fannie Mae Monroe. In 1945, he graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School from there he joined the Marines for two years. After completing his tour of duty he returned to Houston, Texas then in later years, he made his home in Raywood, Texas with his brother and sister –in-law.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Henke and Fannie Lee Monroe; brother: Malcolm Monroe; sisters: Dorothy Stovall and Rosa Lee Joseph.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his brother; Nauriece ( Mary Lou) Monroe, and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside Services: Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Cemetery in Raywood, Texas. Visitation: Tuesday March 12, 2013 at Wells Funeral Services from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
