Frank X. Goger Sr., 84, of Linden, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service to be held in the Werson Funeral Home, 635 No. Wood Ave., Linden, on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at 8:30 p.m. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Cremation will be private.

He was employed by Morey Larue Laundry in Linden as a sales manager for 50 years, retiring in 1994. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean war and was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 470 in Kenilworth. He was also a member and past president of the Linden Rotary Club and a member and past president from 1979 to 1980 of the Mother Seton Parents' Guild in Clark, N.J. He was a graduate of Rutgers University in Newark, receiving a bachelor of business degree. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Helen M. (Zaitz) Goger (2007). He is survived by three loving children, Maureen Goger; Frank Goger and his wife, Debbie, and Kathleen Hoff and her husband, Bruce; four dear siblings, Agnes, Judy, Kathy, and Fred, and two cherished grandchildren, Brian and Jessica Goger.
