Beloved Brother & Uncle

Mr. Lorenzo P. Bellemare, Jr., 68, of Waterbury, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Lorenzo was born in Waterbury on August 30, 1944, son of the late Lorenzo P. Bellemare, Sr. and Antoinette (DeFazio) Bellemare. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army who worked at Scovill’s Manufacturing in Waterbury before becoming a part owner of LDR trucking. He loved playing cards and going to the casino…“When in doubt, put it all on red.”

Lorenzo leaves behind a brother Henry Bellemare and his wife Marie of Wolcott; a sister, Mary Ann Barrieau and her husband Charles of Terryville; a nephew, Mark Bellemare; four nieces, Karen Bellemare, Tracy Begley, Danielle St. Jean and Desirée Barrieau; and many great nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Arrangements: Funeral will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to St. Leo the Great Church for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
