Ruth Ann was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 4, 1955, the daughter of Aelred and Shirley (Birchmeier) Klein. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and attended St. Michael Catholic School. Ruth Ann graduated from New Lothrop High School in 1974. She started working for CHW in Chesaning in 1989, later moving to Maurel Products, now operated as Crest Marine in Owosso. She worked as a foamer, fork lift operator and in shipping/receiving. She was preceded in death by her father, Aelred.

The family expresses their heart-felt gratitude to the "angels" at Hospice House of Shiawassee for the loving care given to Ruth Ann and the compassion for her family during her illness. Memorials are suggested to Hospice House in Ruth Ann's memory.
