Raymond Howell

Raymond E. Howell, age 77 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, February 14th, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood. Born January 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Fred and Gladys Howell. Raymond was also preceded in death by three brothers: Bill, Freddie and Bobby Howell as well as one sister: Doris Welch.

Raymond worked as a Printer and Typesetter for the Gallatin County News and later for the Finn-Jaske Printing Company. He later opened and operated his own printing company, which was Howell Printing. He is survived by two daughters: Tracey Patton and Ramona Howell; two brothers: Virgil and Jack Howell and three sisters: Wanda Judy, JoBelle Schweitzer and Louise Smoot. Seven grandchildren and three great grand daughters also survive him.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 18th, from 11am until 2pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Rev. Hardin Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Glencoe Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
