Electra

Juanita Ainsworth, age 72, of Electra, Texas passed away Wednesday evening, January 9, 2013, at her residence.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Bob Fagan, Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church of Lubbock, Texas, Charles Nichols, retired Pastor, of Bowie, Texas and Paul Winegeart, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Electra, officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon, Texas under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Electra.

Juanita was born August 15, 1940 in DeQueen, Arkansas to Vestal Henry Westbrook and Bertie Lee Shepherd Westbrook.

She graduated from Vernon High School.

She and Joe Ainsworth were married August 1, 1958 in Vernon.

Juanita was employed as a secretary for the Keebler Company for seven years and retired in 2001. She moved to Bluegrove, Texas in 2002 and returned to Electra in 2012. Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra.

Survivors include her husband, Joe of Electra; one daughter, Cindy Frost and husband, Curtis of Wentzville, Missouri, one son, Rick Ainsworth and wife, Theresa from Chesapeake, Virginia; sister, Patsy West of Lubbock, Texas; two granddaughters, Ashley Azmeh and husband, Chris of Pittsford, NY, and Amanda Frost of Glendale Height, Illinois; one grandson, Joe Frost of Wentsville, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike McClendon, Benny McHugh, Dwight McNew, Loyd Rhoades, Cotton Shepherd, and Paul Ward. Honorary pallbearers were Kirby Green, Tom Flinn, Roy Dale Polado, John Shepherd, Tony Shepherd, Doc Stephens and Arlee Swenson.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
