Ernest Marcoux, Sr., 85, of Middletown, husband of the late, Loretta May (Harris) Marcoux, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Middlesex Hospital.
He was born in Quebec, Canada, son of the late Alfred and Bernadette (Bennett) Dunham. A veteran of World War II, he served with the US Army. Prior to retirement, he worked as a welder for Kensington Welding and Trailer.
Ernest is survived by two sons, Ernest Marcoux, Jr. and his wife Heidi of Manchester David Marcoux of Middletown; four daughters, Debora Marcoux of Middletown, Sharon Stocking and her husband Wayne of Haddam, Bonnie Roberts and her husband Richard of Higganum, Tammy Robinson and her husband David of Cheshire; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:15 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St, Middletown, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. at St. Colman Church, Middlefield. Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery.
