Priscilla Stone Hird

Dover, NH – Priscilla Stone Hird, 86 of Maples Suites died Sunday February 3, 2013 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

She was born September 6, 1926 in Peabody, Massachusetts the daughter of Harold and Marion (Staten) Stone. She was predeceased by her siblings; Arthur Stone, Walter Stone, Mildred Neef and Dorothy Faino.

Priscilla and her husband, Jack had lived in Melbourne, Florida for the past 24 years and also enjoyed their summer home at Lake Winnipesaukee. She will always be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Members of her family include her husband of 63 years, John “Jack” S. Hird, Jr. of Dover; three sons, George D. Hird and his wife, Debbie of Southington, CT, Bruce J. Hird and his wife, Aggie of Durham and Jeffrey H. Hird and his wife, Maureen of York, Maine; 8 grandchildren, Amanda Arsenault, Katherine Hird, J. Zachary Hird, Caroline Hird, Julia Hird, Maggie Hird, Michele Frank and Stephen Frank; one great grandson, Charlie Arsenault; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, NH.
