Michelle Lea Dea

Michelle Lea Dea, 42 years of age of Challis, Idaho passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 near Challis due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Michelle was born on January 7, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of David Dea and Sherrie Williams Miller. She grew up in Erda, Utah where she played softball and rode horses. She was a master pool player and loved to sing Karaoke. She enjoyed the game of golf and had worked many summers at courses just to be able to spend more time golfing. Michelle worked in Wendover, Nevada for several years dealing black jack and had worked her way up to the manager level at the Silver Smith Casino in Wendover. While she was working in Nevada her two sons were born: Micah in 1996 and Andan in 2002. She loved being a Mom and treasured time spent with her boys. Andan was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 2006 breaking her heart. Michelle moved to Idaho to be closer to her Mom and had spent the last three years in Challis. She is survived by her father David Dea of Magna, Utah; mother Sherrie (Jim) Miller of Rexburg, Idaho; significant other Dave Thomas of Challis, Idaho; son Micah Dea of Challis; three sisters: Cheri (Miles) Day of Millcreek, Utah, Brenda Dea of Magna, Utah, Briana Dea of Tooele, Utah; nieces and nephews: Kiesha (Adam) Neil of Hesperia, California, Mariah and Ciara Day of Millcreek, Utah, Jakob and Brendon Lord of West Valley, Utah, Tristan and Mercedez Trujillo of West Valley, Utah; aunt Carol (Steve) Turnbow of Layton, Utah; five uncles: Jerry (Linda) Williams of Santa Anna, California, Larry (Danielle) Dea of Magna, Utah, Tim (Cathy) Dea of West Valley, Utah, Leon Dea of Magna, Utah and Wayne Dea of Sea Side, California. Michelle was preceded in death by her son Andan Dea, grandparents, and three uncles: Lee “PeeWee” Williams, Brent Dea and Carl Dea. Please join us in a Celebration of Life Service that will be held on November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. at the Magna Webster Center. 8952 W. 2700 S. Magna, UT.
