Stafford, VA – Mary A. Thomas Marshall, 90, formerly of Green Island, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Stafford Hospital in Stafford, Virginia. She was wife of the late George A. Marshall, who died in 1983. Born in Troy, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Jerris Thomas, she resided in Green Island for 25 years and then in Cohoes for five years before moving to Virginia in 2005. Mary had been employed by the former Bendix Corporation, now Honeywell, in Green Island for 15 years, retiring as an inspector in 1980. She had been a communicant of the former St. Mary’s Church in Troy. She is survived by her children, Paul (DeAnna) Marshall of Saratoga, Lynn (Henry) Relyea of Virginia, Beth (Paul) Parker of Hensonville, NY, Lori (David) Klee of Colonie and Mary Jo (Steven) Munhall of Virginia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by two grandsons, Aaron Hanna in 2010 and Brian McCoy in 2011. Funeral services will be held at the McNulty Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Avenue, Green Island on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be beside her husband, George and grandson, Aaron, in St. Jean’s Cemetery in Troy.
