Services for E.J. Bozeman age 80, of Crockett will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Latexo Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Rochelle officiating. Burial will follow in Livelyville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Bozeman died Tuesday at Houston County Nursing Home in Crockett. He was born August 15, 1932 in Belott, Texas to Nathan J. and Nettie Burran Bozeman. Mr. Bozeman served as Deacon at the Latexo Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Bozeman was retired and had worked for Glass Containers. Mr. Bozeman was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Shirley Marie Lucus Bozeman in 1992 and Windola Mims Bozeman in 2012, and a brother Nathan “Junior” Bozeman. He is survived by his daughters Devie Bozeman, Darla Blaha, Donna Kobou, a son E.J. Bozeman II, step-daughter Cindy Holloway, step-son, Steve “Shorty” Powell, grandchildren, Brandon Bozeman, Nathan Bozeman, Heidi Allemang & Kathryn Ivory, one great grandson Waylon James Bozeman. Condolence calls will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Chapel in Grapeland.
