ALLEN LEE SHOUP

Allen Lee Shoup, age 46, formerly of Clark County, MO, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 21, 2013 at his home in Arcadia, FL.

Allen was born February 26, 1966 in Keokuk, IA, a son of Edgar and Josephine Edmondson Shoup.

Allen graduated from Clark Co. R-1 High School in Kahoka and worked most of his adult life as a heavy equipment operator.

He moved to Arcadia in 2009 from Texas. Allen was a foreman for a deep sewer and water pipeline construction company and was a very hard worker.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and shooting pool.

Survivors include a son, Alex Lee Shoup of Port Charlotte, FL; his father and step-mother, Edgar and Phyllis Shoup of Hogansville, GA; his step-father, Buddy Wood of Kahoka, MO; three brothers, Frank “Craig” (Mary) Noble of Arcadia, FL, Billie (Jane) Noble of Canton, MO and Gary Noble (Warren Arendt) of Hedrick, IA; a sister, Tammi (Mrs. Albert) Lines of Joshua, TX; a step-brother, Tony Angelo of Mobile, AL and a step-sister, Annie Wright of Warren, OH; aunts and uncle: Ruby Shoup, Ozelma Shoup, Linda Edmondson and Bernadean Balzer, all of Kahoka, MO, Glenn Edmondson of Phoenix, AZ and Callie Edmondson of Moody, MO; as well as many cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Edmondson Shoup Wood; a brother, Edward Devon Shoup; and a step-sister, Phyllis Roberts.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn McAfee officiating. Burial was in the Sand Cemetery at St. Francisville, MO. Memorials are suggested to his family.
