Thomas Wade Argabrite Thomas Wade Argabrite, 61, of Kingwood died Friday, January 18, 2013, at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by his side.
He was born on August 15, 1951, in Charleston, a son of the late Virgil W. and Marion L. Harper Argabrite.
Tom was a long time heavy equipment operator for Mary Ruth Corporation and also owner of TK Coal, Inc. Using his operator skills, he also thoroughly enjoyed completing several projects which included golf course construction, the building of farm ponds, and mine reclamation.
He is survived by his daughter and spouse, Kari and Trampas Elliott of Kingwood; a sister and spouse, Dorothy (Argabrite) and Robert Riffle, of Buford, GA; his brothers and spouse, Mike and Barbara Argabrite, of Kingwood and Gary D. Argabrite, of Loganville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Wade Argabrite II and his nephew, Michael Scott Argabrite.
Family and friends may call at Grace Chapel Baptist Church, 167 Grace Chapel Road, in Kingwood on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2-8 pm. There will also be visitation at the church on Monday, January 21, beginning at 10 am followed by service at 11 am with Pastor Michael Argabrite officiating. Funeral arrangements are begin handled by Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood.
