Ruth L. (Rouleau) Andriski, 87, of 102 Rigby St., died Friday, January 11, 2013, in her home, after being stricken ill. Her husband of 58 years, John J. Andriski, died in 2006.
She leaves two brothers: Edward Rouleau and his wife, Ann, of Clinton, and Paul Rouleau and his wife, Claire, of Lancaster; a sister, Jeanette Kelly of Orange; many nieces, nephews, and their families. One sister, Irene Nikitas, and three brothers, Albert G., Walter P., and Francis E. Rouleau, predeceased her.
Ruth was born and raised in Lancaster, daughter of Charles and Medora (LaPlante) Rouleau. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1943.
For nearly twenty years until her retirement, Ruth worked for the William Reisner Corp., Clinton, as a Secretary and Bookkeeper. Previously, she worked for 20 years as a Secretary at Ray-O-Vac, formerly of Clinton.
A member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and the Lancaster Senior Citizens, she was a true animal lover, accomplished seamstress, and avid gardener, each year planting numerous tomato plants from seed, and then sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends.
Ruth’s funeral will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St., John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour at the funeral home on Monday morning, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral Mass.
