Verleen Jean (Worden) Crull , died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac. She was born on February 22, 1950, a daughter of Marion “Bud” Worden and the late Gwendolyn (Bump) Worden in Racine, WI. Verleen graduated from Omro High School in 1968.
She was an avid bowler with friends in Racine. She enjoyed birds, animals, flowers, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends. She also was learning to quilt and scrapbook in recent years. She was a very caring and giving person to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed by all.
Verleen was the loving mother of Kenneth (Julie), Victoria (Keith) and Richard; cherished grandmother to Dennis, Genevieve, Darren, and Alexander; devoted daughter to Marion “Bud” Worden and dear sister to Sandy Carter. Verleen is further survived by other loving family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn (Bump) Worden, sister, Helen (Worden) Smiser, brother, Claude Worden, and grandson, Cody Crull, along with other aunts and uncles.
Cremation arrangements are made with Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Fond du Lac. A private graveside service and memorial will follow this summer.
