Daniel Lee Hinskey, 61, of Bentonville passed after an extended illness Wednesday, January 9 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.
He was born Sept. 19, 1951 at Saginaw, Michigan to Arnold August Hinskey and Gertrude Elizabeth Manchester Hinskey. He drove for JB Hunt ,Esco Transport and trained bird dogs. He won many regional Brittany field trial competitions and guided for the Disabled American Veterans annual upland game hunt. He was an avid outdoorsman, a former Pea Ridge Band booster president and a Presbyterian. He is preceded in death by a brother David Hinskey.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Ruth Cooper of the home; a son Dan Hinskey of Bentonville; a brother, Dwain Hinskey of Benson, Arizona and three grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday January, 13 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with Terry Cruser officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
