Leonard (Leo) Rodriguez Jr., 51, of Midland went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 3, 2013. Leo was a very talented master carpenter that could build anything that you wanted. He could turn one piece of wood into a master piece. Leo enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing his favorite game yaztee. He loved to play the bingo scratch offs and even when he didn’t win he still wouldn’t throw them away. Leo also loved to sit in bed and watch movies; he could do that all day. When it came to sports he was a Dallas Cowboy Fan. He had a smile that could light up a room. Leo was a good listener and loved to be around his children and grandkids. Family was the most important thing to him.
He is preceded in death by his father Leonard Rodriguez Sr., and his grandfather Felipe Rodriguez Sr.
Leo is survived by his loving wife Sylvia B. Rodriguez of Midland; seven sons: Leonard Rodriguez III, Christopher Leigh Rodriguez, John Paul Rodriguez, Andrew Ortiz, Victor Rodriguez, and Michael Rodriguez, all of Midland, and Jason Rodriguez of Menard; five daughters: Lisa M.
