Funeral service for Ms. Ella Ruth Viverette Bagwell who departed from this earthly life on Sunday, January 6, 2013, will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Bishop R. M. Smith, Pastor of True Hope Pentecostal Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Bagwell was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tommie and Ruthie Viverette; grandfather, J. C. Nash; father, Tommie L. Viverette; brothers, Joe and Dexter Viverette; uncles, John Henry, Marvin and Clinton Nash, T.H. Viverette, ; aunts, Ida Mae Viverette, Ida George Viverette, Jeanie Ruth Legget and Annie Mae Picken
She leaves to cherish fond memories in the hearts of her devoted mother, Cassie Viverette; 5 sisters, Barbara, Cassie Mae, Linda, Brenda and Mary; 6 brothers, Tommie L., Jr., Sammie “J.C.”, James “Shine” and wife, Brenda, Danny, Jessie “ Ball” and Antonio; uncle Ether Jay Viverette and wife, Tessie;, Edward L. Viverette and wife, Bettie; aunts, Theosico Arnold and husband, Jeff and Verna Gean Evans of Tampa, Florida; cousin, Ollie Mae Jones of Philadelphia, PA; goddaughter, Zada Teklia; favorite nephew, Darmarte “Carlos”and wife, Shae; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other cousins and other devoted relatives; best friends, Valencia Colon and Harriet Bogan.
A native of Tampa, Florida Ms. Bagwell was born on April 6, 1957. She had no kids, but felt that her nieces and nephews were hers.
She graduated from King High School in 1975 and received a Data Entry degree from United College in 1986.
Ms. Bagwell was a long time former employee of Singleton Seafood plant where she worked in the accounting department. Her last employment was at Winn-Dixie. Her passion was cooking crabs.
Her remains will repose on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends in the chapel from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
