Wiliam David Arbogast, age 74, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. He was born at Circleville on September 12, 1938, the son of the late Truman “Buzz” and Eva Mae (Simmons) Arbogast. He married Darlene Ann Conner Arbogast, who lives at Circleville. Mr. Arbogast was a 1957 graduate of Circleville High School, was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church, and was a Farmer.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Arbogast is survived by: a daughter, Lisa Marie Vance and husband Rob of Circleville; a son, William “Will” David Arbogast II and wife Beth of Kalamazoo, MI; a sister, Nila Good and husband Hugh of Timberville, VA; a brother, Ralph Arbogast and wife Betty of Circleville; 2 sister-in-laws, Izetta & Audrey Arbogast, both of Circleville; 7 grandchildren, Joshua “Josh”, Nicholas “Nick”, Zachary “Zack”, Cary, Trinity, Victoria, and Nissa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Price and Paul; 2 sisters, Irma Day and Mary Harper.
Mr. Arbogast's family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2013, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, WV. Pastor Roger Gorby will officiate funeral services on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the North Fork Baptist Church, Riverton, WV. Interment will be at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, with military graveside services conducted by the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.
