Willie Ray Bogan

Willie Ray was born December 15, 1950 to the late Calvin Bogan, Sr. and Morene Lee Bogan. He accepted Christ and was baptized at Mary Evergreen Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Sam Stills. On Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10:40 AM at Mansfield Nursing Home. God called Ray home into eternal rest. Willie Ray was preceded in death by his brothers Patrick Sonny Bogan & Bruce Edwin Bogan, his father Calvin Bogan, Sr. and grandmothers, Susie Carroll and Rosie (Mama Nick) Gillyard. His aunts, Enola (Mina) Griffin, Maeola (Theo) Griffin, Helen Griffin and Betty Griffin. Remaining to cherish his memories are : mother Morene Bogan Two brothers-Calvin Bogan, Jr. (Doris), Curtis (Mike) Bogan Five sisters-Rose Bogan Simpson, Dorothy Bogan Peyton (J.C.), Nancy Bogan Thomas (Emanuel Sr.) Betty J. Bogan and Catherine Green Four nieces-Cherly Lynn Simpson, Linda Faye Bogan, Katrina Bogan and Latashia Oliphant Five nephews-Gray W. Bogan, Danny W. Bogan, Albert C. Bogan, Preston Phoenix and Emanuel Thomas, Jr. Five Great nieces-Alexis Thomas, Tierra Oliphant, Albreunya Thomas, CheTerrica Simpson and Nikyia Bogan Three Great Nephews-QuaDarius Griffin, Darrell Robinson And Albert Bogan, Jr. Aunt- Doris Bogan of Dallas Texas Uncles Curry Lee White (Hearise) and Joe Lee Carroll (Gladys) A host of cousins and friends.
