Deacon Willie J. Roberson was born December 28, 1944 in Trinton, Tennessee to the parentage of the late Oscal Roberson and Lorraine Gray Robinson. He lived in Chicago, Illinois, a number of years before relocating in Arkansas, where he worked for Tyson Foods. He was a dutiful member of the Supreme Council Of The House Of Jacob Of The United States of America, Inc. He was married to his loving wife Anna K. Chears Roberson.
Deacon Roberson departed this life Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the comfort of his home as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Deacon Willie J. Roberson was predeceased by his father Oscal Roberson; one son, Willie Louis Roberson and one sister Josephine Grimes.
Those left to keep his memories alive are his loving wife, Anna K. Roberson of Mc Caskill, Arkansas; his mother, Lorraine Gray Roberson of Chicago, Illinois; four sons: James (Portia) Roberson of Jackson, TN; Preston C. Roberson of Mc Caskill, AR; Rodney Roberson (Natlie) of Mc Caskill, AR and Christopher Dewayne Roberson (Sibyl) of Texarkana, AR; two daughter Bonita Terrell (Jessie) of Texarkana, AR and Lequita Regina Roberson of Bedford, Texas four brothers: Oscar Roberson (Faye); Alfred Roberson (Charlene), Calvin Roberson (Elouise) and Bobby (Lynn) Roberson all of Chicago, Illinois; 17 Grand children and 14 great grand children and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
