Casimer Perch 89, of Elyria, OH, formerly of White Haven, PA, and South Plainfield, NJ, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Ames Family Hospice, Westlake, Ohio, with his loving family by his side.
Born in White Haven, he was the 13th of 14 children of the late Albert and Kazmiera Olzewski Perch. Known as Cap, he graduated from White Haven High School and was employed as a master mechanic for many years by General Motors in Linden, NJ. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Cap was a member of St. Patrick's Church, White Haven.
Casimer was preceded in death by his wife, the former Alfreda Kellar and siblings John, Anthony, Adam, Joseph, Paul, Frank, Stanley, Adelia Sudu, Anne Hackney, and Bridget Liberski.
He is survived by loving children, Joan Perch and her husband, Paul Biber, Sheffield Lake, OH; Thomas Perch and his wife, Donna of Kinnelon, NJ; Mariellen Perch of Sheffield Lake, OH; grandchildren, Daniel and Josh Biber, and Michele and Allison Perch; his brother, Jerome, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 am, Monday, December 31, 2012 from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick Street, White Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church, White Haven, with Reverend John McHale officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, White Haven.
Friends may call on Sunday evening, December 30, 2012, from 4 to 7 pm. at the funeral home or from 8:30 until time of service Monday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
