Jannie Belle Haskins, 99, of Lowell died Wednesday, Dec. 26 at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers.
She was born Sept. 22, 1913 at Chanute, Kansas to Guy Rhea and Elvira Bertha Gates Rhea. She was a self- employed cosmetologist and enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking. She attended Pea Ridge United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forrest Haskins; two sons, Herb and Billy Haskins; a daughter, Jean Pearson; seven brothers; one sister and three grandchildren.
She is survived by a son Forest Haskins and wife Pat of Topeka, Ks.; two daughters, Lila Scroggins and husband Tom of Blossom, Texas, Lou Hinkle of Salina, Kansas; a daughter in law, Marcia Haskins of Rogers; eleven grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Service is set for 2:00p.m. Wednesday, Jan 2 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with Rev. Jerry Nichols officiating. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 12-2p.m. Wednesday, Jan 2 before the service. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.
