GARRY B. “Bud” BARBERA, 70, of Dutch Hill, Parker, Pa. passed away late Thursday afternoon (12-20-12) at UPMC-Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh of injuries sustained in an accidental fire at his residence. Born in Perry Twp., Clarion Co. on June 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Alfred and Emily Everett Barbera. He attended Perry Township and Parker Area Schools. Garry worked for Bracken Construction at Sligo, J.M. Beatty Auto of Eau Claire, and many of the farms in Synder Valley near Dutch Hill. Surviving are six sisters: Arlene Fair and Mary Barbera of West Freedom, Janis Neely of Beaver Falls, Wanda Bilinsky of Harrisville, Patricia (James) Wolfe of Foxburg, and Lola (Ronald) Morgan of Miola (near Clarion), as well as many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 PM Sunday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne St., Parker. Funeral services will be held at 4:15 PM Sunday at funeral home with Rev. Ken Hughes of the West Freedom United Methodist Church officiating. Burial at convenience of family at Perryville Cemetery.
