William Henry Jones, Jr.

William Henry Jones, Jr, 53, entered into eternal rest late in the evening on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. William was born November 16, 1959 in South Hill Virginia. He was the son of William, Sr. and Juanita Jones. He attended Park View High School and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

“Jap” was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all. He was married to Creslon Theresa Jones for 31 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Jones, Sr., sister, Brenda Mabry and sister-in-law, Thelma Jones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Creslon Theresa Jones; two children, Marcus and Bianca Jones of Blackridge , VA; four grandchildren, Talia and Kamarah Jones of Pottstown, PA, Marcus Jones, Jr of South Hill, and Imani Jones who resides at the home of William and Theresa in Blackridge VA; his mother Juanita Jones of Blackridge, VA; two brothers Steven Jones of Jacksonville, FL and Brad Jones of Blackridge, VA; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; father-in-law Frank Brown; three nieces, who are also his God daughters; six nephews; special friends, Benjamin Wynn, Thomas Hendrick, Jr. (Nancy) and Eldridge Ashe, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Jones, Pastor, Officiating and Bishop Ernest Brown eulogizing. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Funeral services were entrusted to the staff of the Oris P. Jones Funeral Establishment.
