Annie B. Pace, 89, of Lebanon Community, Berkeley County, and widow of William R. Pace, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Summerville Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Cypress United Methodist Church Building Fund, 256 Myers Mayo Road, Ridgeville, SC 29472.
Mrs. Pace was born June 21, 1923 in Anderson, SC, daughter of the late William and Hattie Martin McGaha. She was a member of the Cypress United Methodist Church Ladies Missionary Society and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary of North Charleston. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping with her lady friends. In her earlier years she worked at Ray Bestos Manhattan (Garco) as a spinner operator.
Surviving are: two daughters and one son: Gloria Pace Hale (Rick) of Terre Haute, IN, William Randall Pace (Patty) of Lebanon Community and Mary Pace Hutson (Drew) of Lebanon Community, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters: Doyle McGaha of Pendleton, Nellie Gray of Lavonia, GA and Willamae Manney of Sandy Springs, SC. She was predeceased by two daughters: Ann M. Nogle Henson and Virginia Anderson Spicer.
